Always Time is a song about making room for love, kindness, and compassion, even in the middle of busy lives.

I wrote this song shortly after I began taking guitar lessons, and it became my first guitar composition. It stayed with me for about a year as I continued working through the guitar parts, production, arrangement, and lyrics.

One thing I wanted to preserve in the finished recording was the feeling of where I started. Some of the guitar parts you hear are actually parts I laid down when I was first learning. I updated some sections as my playing developed, but intentionally kept some of those early parts because I wanted to keep a little of the rawness.

I've also been part of a very supportive guitar community for a while now. I shared an early snippet of Always Time there, and that's where Andrew Tesoriéro first heard it. He generously offered to add bass, and his contribution became an important part of the finished song.

Along the way, a meaningful reconnection with an old friend inspired me to revisit the first verse and weave a personal memory into the song.

At its heart, Always Time holds a simple message: there is always time for us to love. Sometimes stepping outside our comfort zones, slowing down, or simply reaching out can create an experience that means more than we realize. We never know when something within us might be exactly what someone else needs.

This song is the first of five original guitar compositions that will make up my first guitar EP, Always Time.
